Melia Azadirachta is a tree that grows in India. It naturally occurs in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. The international scientific community, acknowledging the substantial amount of results confirming the properties of Neem, has included it in the top ten plants that should be studied and used for environmentally sustainable development of the planet and the health of living beings. The oil obtained from the mechanically pressed seeds of the plant is commercially important and used in the cosmetics industry, as well as in widely used insect-repelling products worldwide.
