Dogs primarily respond to sounds and acoustic signals rather than speech. Therefore, a whistle is optimal for training and hunting, as its sound is hardly audible. Its tone clearly differs from the usual sounds surrounding your dog daily. Please note that a simple whistle is sufficient, as loud noises can more quickly startle your dog. Dogs have a significantly wider sound range, and they perceive high-frequency whistle sounds with the same loudness as a regular dog’s whistle sounds. The tone of the high-frequency whistle can be adjusted individually. With the adjusting screw located under the plastic cover (frequency protection), you can select the appropriate sound tone for your dog. Higher sounds are intended for close distances, while lower ones are for longer distances. The tone can be fixed with the screw located beneath the adjusting screw. Tip: if you can’t remove the cover, hold the whistle under warm water.
